SKETCHES ♡
I have a huge passion for Art. Sketching, painting, Photography, and beyond. It all interests me.
I'm not a natural artist (in my opinion), the kind of person who can draw anything on the spot with impeccable detail. I only wish I had such a talent. I do on the other hand have the ability to recreate anything I see in front of me with fairly good accuracy.
Like this, my most recent sketch I did while looking at my phone. I saw this picture on Instagram & liked it so much I was compelled to sketch it. I added the beauty mark I have and tryed to make the nose look more like mine.
A little closer view.
This is a very old sketch of a rose I did free hand (yes I can occasionally turn out some good free hand) in a high school planner of mine. Probably circa 2003 or 4. I would have to go find the planner to verify, but it's packed somewhere.
^ THIS IS A PHOTO MY SISTER FOUND ONLINE SOMEWHERE & LOVED.
So I recreated it for her about 5 years ago when she was getting a new apartment.
This is the only picture I took of it after painting, and before giving. I could and should have spent more time on it. I rushed it and was done in 10 minutes. She loved it and hung it in her kitchen. :)
I do plan to start sketching and painting more. Stay tuned.

THANKSGIVING 2012 ♡ ROADTRIP
So after driving hours to D.C to visit my wonderful family for THANKSGIVING dinner I didn't get a single picture of the food! (Which is so not like me) But I did get tons of useless pictures on the ride there and old family pictures while there. So here they are, enjoy :)
Hampton Coliseum
Field of horses
My parents old middle school they both attended
I hate to post, but I was shocked when we hit traffic and I was stuck face to face with this.
I'd never seen a deer strapped to a car before. And I hope never again.
My Gram is 1 of 12 children. One of her brothers painted this for her. I was amazed by the detail. Everyone kept laughing at me taking pictures of everything in her house! This is Amazing! Oil on canvas.
The dining room after dinner. Pink tablecloth and matching napkins. My Gram knows how to set a table!

T-REX! (fake of course) @ Kings Dominion

Crossing the Potomac River

Stopped by my Dad's parents house before dinner at my Mom's parents.
My Aunt was there with her dog Moby :) He's a sweetie.

My Gram just had these glass shelves put in, so I took a picture :)

My Grams cute little guest room. She lives in a highrise condo in Washington D.C. You wouldn't believe the size of this place!
