311 ♡

One of my favorite, favorite bands is 311. If you're unfamiliar, familiarize yourself! They just celebrated their 23 years of rocking stages (wow 1990 was their first show, I was 2)! I love their lyrics and unique sound & vocals, & their live shows are always amazing. I've seen them every year since I was a freshman in HS, so 2002-now. Seeing them in a month! =)

GIANT WOLF SPIDER ♡

I found this wolf spider about a year ago when I was walking back inside from my garage. It was sprawled out bigger than my hand in the crease of the door. I killed him as I kind of had to to get inside and him not. I now keep his little (big) body in a clear box to display him.

Hugeeeee!

VET CUTIES ♡

When Molly was a few months old ( around Christmas ) we took her to the Vet to get her shots and heartworm/flea/tick medication and all the goods. There was the cutest little fur ball roaming around like he/she owned the place! I of course took a few pictures when the lil baby came into our exam room. =)

Such a cutie! & since it was December they had the cutest little DOG & CAT ceramic Christmas tree's out. =) I'd like to find them for myself!

Love them! <3 <3 <3

& upon checking out, this little beauty was lounging on the counter. I love Vets!

FOOD WITH MY LOVE ♡

Went to the cutest little Cuban restaurant with my baby and got the best nachos ever! They were BBQ chicken nachos, & the best nachos of my life. If there is a Cuban place near you and they have chicken nachos, get them.

They cook them in the oven so they are perfect & the Cuban BBQ chicken was all through out and amazzzzzing.

I also got a side of garlic potatoes. I love mashed potatoes and I love garlic so it seemed necessary.

Yummy little meal with my love.

SKETCHES ♡

I have a huge passion for Art. Sketching, painting, Photography, and beyond. It all interests me.
I'm not a natural artist (in my opinion), the kind of person who can draw anything on the spot with impeccable detail. I only wish I had such a talent. I do on the other hand have the ability to recreate anything I see in front of me with fairly good accuracy.

Like this, my most recent sketch I did while looking at my phone. I saw this picture on Instagram & liked it so much I was compelled to sketch it. I added the beauty mark I have and tryed to make the nose look more like mine.

A little closer view.

This is a very old sketch of a rose I did free hand (yes I can occasionally turn out some good free hand) in a high school planner of mine. Probably circa 2003 or 4. I would have to go find the planner to verify, but it's packed somewhere.

^ THIS IS A PHOTO MY SISTER FOUND ONLINE SOMEWHERE & LOVED.
So I recreated it for her about 5 years ago when she was getting a new apartment.

This is the only picture I took of it after painting, and before giving. I could and should have spent more time on it. I rushed it and was done in 10 minutes. She loved it and hung it in her kitchen. :)

I do plan to start sketching and painting more. Stay tuned.

HALLOWEEN FAUX BURNING CANDLES DIY ♡

EASY HALLOWEEN FAUX BURNING CANDLES DIY

You'll need:
Wrapping paper tubes or paper towel tubes or TP tubes, hot glue gun & glue sticks, flat black spray paint, and battery operated tea lights from Dollar Tree.
 Pretty and no fire danger!

After picking the perfect spot for each tube, I glued them together to stay in place, then hot glued around the rims (drippy & wax-like) & finished it off with a few coats of flat black spray paint.

before & after with battery operated tea lights.

Such a beautiful Halloween decoration! I almost wish I could keep it up all year long. The flicker of the tea lights is so realistic and lovely. I bought so many packs of tea lights @ the dollar tree. They're the best invention! The only thing I would change about my finished diy would be - to have only used the paper towl and wrapping paper tubes (taller/longer tubes). I used mainly toilet paper tubes & glued many together to make them taller, leaving a not so seamless look. But being October when I made this, I had a few months before wrapping paper season and used what I had.

I will definately be making more again this year! My house will be a flickering candle castle!

^ THIS IS THE PINTEREST PHOTO I USED AS A REFERENCE WHEN MAKING MINE.

Such a fun craft and beautiful outcome! Start saving your tubes & try it out.

QUICK NAILS ♡

I did these nails last summer. The design was super easy and I love this color polish. <3

I used: Mood color changing nail polish (from Claires) & tape.

Lay tape onto your nails any which way you like, cutting designs into the tape if desired and then add color! Quick & cute :)

I used PEACEFUL/CONFIDENT (aqua/turqoise) color on the very left, top row. It changes with warm & cold water.
I also have the baby pink which is so pretty.

PHOTO FROM GOOGLE, sorry it's blurry.

BEAUTY IS EVERYWHERE ♡

I found this Giant Leopard Moth or Eyed Tiger Moth taking a rest under my water hose. I had never seen such a beautiful moth, I had to get some pictures.

I turned the mist on & gave him a drink. He appreciated it.

Beauty is EVERYWHERE <3
